Commercial Building Maintenance (CBM)
WCC's Commercial Building Maintenance Program offers advanced training for maintenance mechanics to expand their knowledge of daily and preventative maintenance of commercial buildings.
Course Content
- Review and apply Michigan occupancy, safety, health,building laws, and building codes
- Demonstrate the ability to read prints, drawings, and schematics of buildings, machines, and fixtures
- Replace, maintain and repair various mechanical and electrical parts, pulleys, sheaves, fittings, and fixtures
- Recognize and apply new technologies including green buildings and maintenance, low
voltages, and
computer-based machines
