WCC’s new Workforce Foundational Skills Lab is designed to help you get ready for your next move and it is free to Washtenaw County residents.
We’ll help you improve your math skills and other skills required that may be required to secure in-demand jobs. Together we’ll provide the support you need to address gaps in your skill set that are essential to securing key jobs in fields like health care and the trades among others. Our lab is unique because it is “open-entry” meaning, you can access this service virtually or in-person and receive support from a trained facilitator to assist you. We work around your existing schedule as you prepare to meet the needs of your next job.
