Join the Washtenaw Community College Foundation for a special gathering to recognize the generosity of our donors and the determination of our students.
Formerly known as the Scholarship Luncheon, this annual tradition has grown into Supporting Student Success: A Donor and Student Celebration, a program dedicated to highlighting how our donors help remove obstacles and create opportunities for student success.
Why Attend?
This event will:
- Honor Donors whose contributions make education more accessible for WCC students.
- Celebrate New Endowments & Expendable Funds completed during the 2024–2025 academic year.
- Recognize Scholarship Recipients who are overcoming barriers and pursuing their academic and career goals.
- Showcase the Impact of donor support on students’ lives, families, and futures.

Information for Students
As a scholarship recipient, your presence is an important part of this celebration. This is a chance to connect with the donors who make your scholarship possible and to share in the recognition of your accomplishments.
What to Expect
- Arrival: Please check in at the registration table when you arrive.
- Seating: Students will be seated with donors to encourage conversation and connection.
- Program: The program includes remarks from WCC leadership, student stories, and donor recognition.
- Attire: Business casual is recommended. Please dress neatly to represent yourself and WCC proudly.
- Networking: Be ready to meet donors and other scholarship recipients, consider preparing a few sentences about your goals and how your scholarship has supported your journey.

No, only a few students will be invited to share their stories. However, you may be asked to briefly introduce yourself to your table. If you are interested in being a student speaker please contact the Foundation.
Yes. A complimentary lunch will be served during the program.
