Winter Startup Bootcamp

The Entrepreneurship Center at Washtenaw Community College is offering a Winter Startup Bootcamp that can help turn a great idea into a customer-ready business strategy.

Whether launching a tech startup, an original product line or a service-based business, the bootcamp is designed to help entrepreneurs go from concept to customer-ready in five months.

By using a hybrid format that combines online and in-person evening sessions, the program is designed for busy, working adults who need flexibility and support to accomplish their goals. The expected time commitment is 10+ hours per month, from February 1 through June.

Application deadline is January 6.

Bootcamp cohort members will:

  • Attend weekly evening sessions with expert-led coaching
  • Build core business assets: customer insights, brand identity, financials, website and pitch deck
  • Get personalized mentor sessions to sharpen strategy
  • Learn to use AI-enhanced tools to streamline planning, marketing and productivity
  • Develop a Lean Canvas and Small Business Association-aligned business plan
  • Create an investor-ready pitch deck that tells their stories
  • Access up to $10,000 in customized startup services

Learn more and register on the Entrepreneurship Center's website. Direct questions to [email protected].

After registration, applicants will be contacted for a 1:1 Bootcamp introductory interview and will be asked to submit a formal application. This is a competitive program, and preference will be given to new bootcamp participants.
