Washtenaw Community College’s fourth Free College Day was a resounding success with more than 300 community members enjoying a wide array of classes and hands-on workshops taught by WCC faculty and community enrichment instructors. “Free College Day is a way for the college to give back to the community that has so strongly supported us over these past 50 years,” said WCC President Dr. Rose B. Bellanca. “It was a joy to see people of all ages exploring our beautiful campus, learning new skills and exploring new ideas.”

The picture perfect day also served as the official kick-off of the college’s 50th anniversary and was celebrated by the opening of a 25-year-old time capsule.
