A record number of high school sophomores, juniors and seniors and their parents attended Campus Explore at Washtenaw Community College on Nov. 17.

The event gave high school students an opportunity to explore what it is like to be a WCC student by touring campus and attending mini-class sessions, such as Careers in Cybersecurity, Photography and Powder Coating. (See photos from the event.)

Parents had the opportunity to attend special sessions where they learned about financial aid, dual enrollment and WCC’s STEM Scholars Program.

More than 300 students and parents participated in the event, representing schools throughout the region as well as schools in Detroit, Midland and even out of state.
