The contest gives current local small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to win cash prizes for their business ideas. The deadline to apply at ec.wccnet.edu is Friday, February 15.

Pitch@WCC includes three months of required workshops on pitch training and storytelling. Entrepreneurs then prepare their pitches to present at the main event on Thursday, May 9. The evening includes food, a DJ and a panel of five judges from WCC and the area business community.

Judges award prizes in three categories: ‘Start,’ ‘Build’ and ‘Grow.’
