CNT 206: Internetworking I - Fundamentals
Course is available online in Winter 2017.
In this course, students have the opportunity to take a portion of the CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification examination. Students learn the fundamentals of the Open Systems Interconnect (OSI) model and the basics of computer networking including contemporary network services, transmission media, and protocols. The most common implementations in today's Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs) are used. This course was previously CNT 200 and the title was previously Internetworking I-Fundamentals.
