WCC Office of Information Technology Services - September 12, 2023
During the weekly maintenance window on the morning of Sunday, September 17, quarterly operating system and database patches will be applied to all Linux servers that support Banner and Banner-related systems. These applications will be unavailable to faculty, staff and students.

WCC is experiencing a variety of network and application / performance related issues due to a fault in critical network equipment in one of its datacenters. Intermittent connectivity will persist during resolution.

During the weekly maintenance window on Sunday morning, July 16, several modules of the College's Banner database will be upgraded. These applications will be unavailable to faculty, staff and students.

WCC Office of Information Technology Services - June 30, 2023
On Saturday, July 8, the WCC internet connectivity will be down for approximately four hours. Our internet service provider (ISP), Merit, will be performing maintenance on their infrastructure, working with DTE to replace utility poles in our service area.

WCC Office of Information Technology Services - May 23, 2023
On Saturday, June 3, campus-wide student Wi-Fi (wccnet) and computers in Bailey Library and the Learning Commons will be down for up to 10 hours, likely less. ITS will be replacing network components in order to increase network bandwidth. Internet access into and out of that network will be unavailable.
