Ashley Bussey

I am a Detroit Native. I have been in health care for about 12 years with almost 6 of those years being a nurse. My background in nursing is ER, pediatric homecare, some leadership, surgical ICU and most recently forensic nursing. I have been a forensic nurse for 2 years. I love what I do. I love being able to give trauma-informed care to my patients in their most vulnerable times. I love learning and teaching. I can talk nursing for hours on end because of how much information exists in different areas.

I have my Masters in Nursing Education that I obtained from Capella University in August 2023.
