Kimberly Jones has been a full-time faculty member at Washtenaw Community College for seventeen years. She has taught courses in three departments: Academic Skills, English, and Criminal Justice. In addition, she helped create the Paralegal/Pre-Law program. She also served a short term as Interim Dean of the Arts & Sciences Division at WCC.
In addition to her teaching and administrative work, she founded a non-profit law firm, Collaborative Legal Services. In this capacity, she helps low-income and indigent clients in need of legal counsel. The firm also provides community legal education.
Kimberly received her law degree from Cooley Law School. She holds both a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and an M.A.T. in Reading and Language Arts from Oakland University. She received a B.A. in English from Michigan State University, where she also minored in Theater.
