About Glenn Richards
Glenn Richards is a higher education professional with extensive experience in student affairs, specializing in student conduct, Title IX compliance, behavioral intervention, and student support services. He currently serves as Dean of Students at Washtenaw Community College, where he provides leadership for the Dean of Students Office, Learning Support Services, and Adult Transitions. In this role, he oversees institutional conduct processes, supports campus safety initiatives, ensures compliance with federal regulations, and works collaboratively across departments to enhance student success and well-being. Glenn is committed to advancing equitable, safe, and supportive campus environments through policy development, education, and student-centered leadership.
Prior to his current position, Glenn served as Student Conduct and Compliance Manager and Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Students at Henry Ford College. There, he led investigations into student misconduct and Title IX cases, managed compliance reporting, developed campus-wide training programs, and supported behavioral intervention efforts. His earlier work at Jackson College included progressive leadership roles in residence life and housing, culminating as Director of Residence Life, where he supervised staff, managed operations, and implemented programs to foster student engagement and retention. He began his professional career at Marietta College, contributing to residential education, student success initiatives, and first-year experience programming.
