Important Note
Computed Tomography will not be offered in Fall 2025 due to the upcoming retirement of the current program instructor.
WCC is in the process of hiring a new faculty member, but until that position is filled, we are unable to provide a definitive timeline for when the program will resume. If the program is offered, the information below outlines the Fall 2026 admission cycle.
Computed Tomography Admissions at WCC
Each year, we welcome about 12 students to the Computed Tomography (CPCTOM) program for a Fall semester start. In addition, approximately six alternate candidates are selected in case any seats become available before the program begins.
This is a full-time program. Part-time enrollment is not available.
This program is designated as high demand and follows WCC’s Limited Enrollment Process for determining admissions.
Fall 2026 Admissions Dates and Deadlines
Applications can only be submitted during the program's designated application window.
Application opens: Mid-April 2026
Apply to WCC's Computed Tomography Program
- Priority Deadline for WCC Radiography Students: Monday, May 11, 2026 at 12 p.m.
- Final Deadline for All Applicants: Early August 2026
All WCC Radiography students and Delta College students recommended for Special Admissions with outstanding admission requirements at the time of application, must complete and verify all admission requirements by Friday, August 14, 2026 to maintain their status.
We recommend submitting your application before the final day to avoid last-minute issues. If you have questions or encounter issues after office hours, staff may not be available to help. Exceptions to the deadline will not be made.
Next Admissions Cycle: Fall 2027 semester. If the program runs, the application is expected to open in mid-April 2027, with an anticipated deadline in early August 2027.
Application Exceptions
WCC Radiography students expecting to graduate in Spring/Summer 2026 will receive priority consideration if they submit their program application by the priority deadline. These applicants will be considered for a seat based on the date their application is received, even if final admission requirements are still in progress during the Spring/Summer 2026 semester. Students who apply after the priority deadline will forfeit their priority status.
After the priority deadline, all other applicants will be considered on a first-qualified basis until all seats are filled.
Delta College students recommended for Special Admissions who are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from Delta College’s Radiography program within the past five years may be eligible for conditional status while completing their final admission requirements during the Spring/Summer 2026 semester.
Limited Enrollment & Competitive Admission Process
This program followings WCC's Limited Enrollment Admission Process. Applicants must meet all admission requirements. Qualified candidates are admitted on a first-qualified basis until all accepted and alternate seats are filled.
If the number of qualified applications exceeds the available seats for two or more consecutive admission cycles, WCC reserves the right to implement its Competitive Admission Process for future admissions.
