In-Person
Preferred Option
Best for new students who want to complete everything in one day
Wolf P.A.C.K. (Planning, Advising, Connections, Kickstarting your Success) Orientation is WCC’s most comprehensive in-person orientation experience for new students.
During this three-hour session, you’ll complete orientation, connect with campus partners dedicated to your success, meet individually with an academic advisor to develop your academic plan, and register for the upcoming semester. This is our top recommendation for students who want to leave orientation fully prepared for their first semester.

In-Person Orientation
Best for students who want the full on-campus experience
Join us on campus to get your WCC journey started with confidence. During this 75-minute live session, you’ll meet campus student ambassadors, learn how to navigate college systems, and explore key resources that support your academic goals.
Orientation is designed to help you understand opportunities, policies, and next steps so you feel prepared for your first semester.

Hybrid Orientation
Best for students who want flexibility
Hybrid orientation gives you the choice to attend either in person or virtually on Zoom for 75 minutes while receiving the same essential information. Led by the WCC Recruitment team, this session helps you understand campus resources, plan for your first semester, and connect with support services - all in a format that fits your schedule.
What to expect:
- Live presentation from WCC staff
- Flexible attendance (on campus or Zoom)
- Overview of student tools and success resources
- Time for questions and next steps
Virtual Orientation
Best for students who prefer to attend from anywhere
Attend this 75-minute orientation online via Zoom and get everything you need to start strong at WCC. This interactive session walks you through important college resources, technology, and planning tools so you feel supported during your transition to college.
What to expect:
- Live Zoom session with WCC staff
- Overview of key systems and resources
- Guidance for your first semester
- Q&A from the comfort of home
These sessions are led by members of the WCC onboarding team in person or on Zoom. Orientation sessions may take longer than the scheduled 75 minutes due to time for questions, please allow 90 minutes in your schedule to attend. Virtual or in-person orientation attendance does satisfy admission checklist requirements. WCC is located in Eastern Standard Time.
If you are more than 5 minutes late to your orientation session, you will be asked to reschedule.

F1 Visa
If you’re studying in WCC on an F1 visa, welcome! You’ll attend an orientation to learn about the requirements specific to your status.
English as a Second Language
Attend this session to learn about the CaMLA English placement test, which assess your language skills and identify a starting class level. To select an upcoming ESL orientation session, see your "Checklist" within MyWCC.
