Tutors will...
- Discuss your work/assignment with you
- Help clarify the requirements and expectations of assignments
- Explain how to do homework problems effectively
- Discuss important concepts and ideas with you and offer explanations
- Always follow WCC guidelines for academic integrity
- Respect student rights as set out by WCC
Tutors will not...
- Help with tests, quizzes, or exams
- Provide answers to homework problems
- Work 1-on-1 with a single student for more than 1 hour per day
- Help with any form of cheating or violate student responsibilities as set out by WCC
Students will...
- Ask questions and participate in problem-solving
- Study independently after 1 hour of tutoring (may ask for help from time to time)
- Treat tutors and the ASC space with respect (please note that tutors can end any session at any point).
