Join us for Make It Real! A Convenient Entrepreneurial Training Series.

The series includes a curated open access library of videos and microlearning resources focused on six entrepreneurship topics along with individual coaching and in-person workshops based around your business industry.

Beginning January 18th and every other week following, we will release a new resources online. And when you have questions or need to talk to someone, we are here for you.

Complete your training by attending the in-person capstone workshops based on your industry of choice in April.



Anyone is welcome to register at any time over the course of the series January through April. But viewing all sessions is strongly encouraged! Those who view and provide input are eligible for special prizes.


A series of microlearning resources providing guidance for your entrepreneurial projects, individualized coaching, and industry-based workshops.


Microlearning online resources will be shared with you twice a month with a short survey.

One-on-one appointments can be held virtually or in-person.

The workshops will be held in-person on WCC’s campus.

January 18 What does an entrepreneur do? – Learn techniques to generate, develop, and communicate new ideas. See what other entrepreneurs do.
February 1 Customer Differentiation – Learn ways to identify and nurture your exact customer groups.
February 15 Marketing/Storytelling – Learn ways to communicate to the market that will generate potential customers.
February 15 - March 5 Small group check-ins with EC team. Virtual or in-person. More info TBD.
March 1 Digital Marketing – Where and how do you reach your customers online?
March 15 Accounting/Legal – Basic info on setting up and running your business.
March 29 Funding Your Project – Basic info on setting up and funding.
April 19 OR April 26 In-person Workshops with Industry Professionals. Attend either day. Choose the day/time that works for you:

Washtenaw Community College students are supported by scholarship and a Student Emergency Fund (SEF), both operated from the Washtenaw Community College Foundation (WCCF). For more than 30 years, WCCF has provided more than 10,000 scholarships so that students can achieve their dream of getting an education. Some students who have received support transfer to four-year colleges, others earn certificates and enter the workforce.
