Property Disposition at WCC

The Spring season often inspires cleaning, reorganizing, and change - at home AND at the workplace.

If you are planning to clean or reorganize your WCC-issued space, equipment, or technical area, please be sure to follow the Property Disposition Procedure for any WCC property no longer needed.

WCC strives to be fiscally and environmentally responsible with college property, and the existing disposition procedure ensures that all items are disposed of in the correct manner.  After first trying to reissue items on campus, we will prioritize reuse through sale on the WCC Public Surplus Store, or by donation to local 501(c)(3) organizations.

The property disposition process is as follows.

  1. Identify WCC property you no longer need
  2. Check and record asset tag numbers for high-value equipment
  3. Fill out a Property Disposition form and get it signed by the Executive Administrator
  4. Attach one copy to the item you wish to be removed
  5. Email a copy to [email protected]

Once the form is received, the process of removing the items from your area will begin.
