Academic Advising

It's a fact: students who work closely with an academic advisor for educational planning are more likely to succeed in college and achieve their educational goals.

Service Note: DegreeWorks will be unavailable Friday, March 3rd at 5:00pm until 8:00am Tuesday, March 7th. During this time, drop-in advising will be unavailable on Monday, March 6th.

Quick questions; limited to 15 minutes

Monday - Thursday | 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The WCC Welcome Center will provide initial triage before transferring you to an advisor.

Advising Appointments

Students also have the option to schedule an advising appointment:
Monday - Thursday | 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday | 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Appointments are available in-person or virtually.

Success coaches provide holistic, personalized, one on one support to students. New students are assigned a dedicated success coach based on their academic program.

The Learning Commons offers pathways for students to connect, integrate, and create ideas in order to deepen and develop knowledge. Here you can receive academic tutoring, improve technology literacy, develop study skills, and access computers and software to excel in coursework.

Math Resource Center

The Math Resource Center provides tutoring services to improve your mathematical skills. You will also find 10 computers for your use, and information regarding math courses, procedures, schedules, and program requirements.
