Middle College Programs

In addition to Washtenaw Technical Middle College, we are the educational partner for the following schools.

Ypsilanti Community Schools STEMM Middle College

This self-contained 5-year program, conveniently located at the main YCS high school, begins in 9th grade. Students start by taking high school classes with a STEMM focus; by 11th grade, many have started the transition to college coursework at WCC. Students complete their 5th year of the program entirely at WCC and may graduate with an associate degree. YCS STEMM Middle College students also get hands-on training from participating in 2 award-winning FIRST Robotics teams .

Livingston County Early College

This program provides an opportunity for students attending Brighton, Fowlerville, Hartland, Howell, or Pinckney High School to earn a technical certificate or associate degree while in high school.   Beginning in the 11th grade students start the transition to college coursework through WCC and have a 5th year of high school earning college credit with no cost to the student. Programs available include Cyber Security, Computer Networking, Construction Technology or Construction Management.
